Mid of May 2009 the graphical segment of the Lohmann Adhesive Tape Group invited its international salesmen to a common meeting. Numerous staff members of Lohmann´s subsidiaries in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark and Sweden came to the headquarters in Germany to catch up on the latest graphical news. 1938 Lohmann developed an adhesive plate mounting tape already. Since then the graphical segment is one of the main pillars of Lohmann and the DuploFLEX products had been evolving into a well known brand in the printing industry worldwide. Not least to reach an homogeneous level of information Lohmann get together regularly with its graphical salesmen. This year a lot of topics like e.g. the country-specific situation of the flexographical markets, the different applications and development of the DuploFLEX-plate mounting tapes or the competitive environment were discussed. During these presentations the importance of the DuploFLEX 5 range concerning the European flexo market clearly arose. One of the main reasons for this market result is the special double-sided flexible reinforcement of the plate mounting tapes. Concerning this reinforcement, the forces acting upon the compressible foam are perfectly cushioned. The result: no uncontrolled dot gain and an excellent  print image. Furthermore the international sales staff gave an account of the most significant reasons for the customers to rely on DuploFLEX products. Here, Lohmann´s technical support, the extensive service and unchanging quality of these products came to the fore. All in all Lohmann knows that such a knowledge and comprehension of the different graphical markets worldwide is an important requirement to develop customized products.
